UP B.Ed is a prerequisite qualification for applying to teaching posts in UP government schools via TET and other recruitment exams.

To apply for UP B.Ed 2025, candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions:
Graduation/Post-Graduation in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
B.Tech/B.E candidates must have 55% marks in Maths and Science subjects.
Minimum Age: 15 years
There is no upper age limit, but age relaxation applies as per government rules for reserved categories.
Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
